Gargora:The Book: Chapter Two

In The Distance

   Humans discovered Gargora in 2683. IMP helped with this, as its data waves were disrupted and showed the image of Gargora- a giant green and blue planet.Scientists immediately started to send out drones. Coincidentally, Gargoran scientists had discovered Earth already, the equivalent time of 1398 here on Earth. They, too had sent drones here to Earth, which had finally arrived in 2684. Cognì, Golemns and Titans (all three species) were in a "video" showing the life present on Gargora, the languages and geography. Of course, they couldn't speak any Earth language at the time, as they'd never contacted us prior. By 2685, preparations to send humans out to the planet were made. On December 31, 2684, at precisely 12:00, an enormous Interstellar ship, dubbed: The Star Cruiser, at 934 feet long with 8 levels, launched out into space at about 700,000 miles per hour. A year after departure, The Star Cruiser's passengers were sent into a hibernation-like state. The only parts of their bodies functioning were their brains, even working at 80% less energy. The ship went into an auto pilot mode. It was powered solely on solar and electric power.
   In 2987, NASA received word that The Star Cruiser had arrived to Gargora. It stayed within orbit for quite a while until it got order to release the first Glider, small ships carrying 45 people (scientists). The first Glider, nicknamed, Eo, landed within a small Blue Grass Tree forest clearing. The ship was immediately met by Gargorans. Cognì, Golemns, Titans,  Bipesperegrinus, and Skull Bashers (etc) met Eo in armor, protective suits and highly advanced weapons. The scientists were awoken from their hibernation state by being detached from their "umbilical cords" and spraying gases into their lungs. The visitors exited Eo, only to find weapons aimed at their heads. They immediately passed out on contact with Gargora's atmosheric pressure. It was planned ahead of time for them to wear protective suits to protect them from the gravity. The suits created an "Earth atmosphere" around them. But, it still wasn't enough. Two individuals died.

   Gargorans had atmospheric adjusters. A tank filled with special liquids, gases and Gargoran oxygen mixed with Earth oxygen (attained from oxygen tanks on the visitors and Eo. A month after being put in the tanks, the humans start to awaken from their coma- like states. Gargorans were fascinated with the "aliens". The humans were observed. A male and female were taken into labs and their organs were studied through x-ray and see through medical techniques. Put into large rooms, Gargorans immediately noticed that the humans tended to panic quite often. It is from these observations that humans were dubbed primitive. Along with the mistreatment of Earth and human vehicles being toxic.
   Many governments argued, debating wether the humans should stay or not. Many opposed the "primitive and dangerous beasts". But many more were intrigued and wanted them to stay. Humans in the time being were fed thick fruit pastes and filtered water. This was to accustom them to Gargoran foods- in other words, humans were staying. And the second and third Gliders, Meso and Terti were to be released onto Gargora, all a year apart. Humans had been established on Gargora. The year is 2988.
